Time Sensitive Material Enclosed

I will announce the winner of the Granteeny drawing at 4pm Pacific time today. So far as predicted, there are only 3 people in the running. If you would like a contemporary masterpiece by a child prodigy you need to comment in some way shape or form. I might chose the winner, Grant might chose the winner, or long suffering wife and mother, Michelle may chose the winner. Either way, I promise it will be fair yet completely arbitrary. 4:00!

Though I don't know the artist I think I know someone who knows someone who knows him. For that reason I was hestitant to enter this contest. But my love for the artists has compelled me to submit this entry.

The three reasons I think I should win are:
a) Until I discovered the brilliance that is Granteeny I was not an art lover. I just didn't get it. After seeing his pieces I now understand what the fuss is all about and why there are so many museums in the world.
b) His preschool photo- pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen in the whole entire world.
c) It was my birthday last week and the boy I'm dating didn't even wish me 'Happy Birthday'... so that should win some pity points right?
cheers,
Christy from Las Vegas

Ooooh, we have appreciation, flattery, and pity in one entry. The trifecta! Well done.

My roommate told me last night that I would I need to put something up on the walls of our bedroom. If I had a Granteeny piece it would definitely earn the prized spot above my bed. Also, Joe, you were my volleyball coach, you've known me a long time and we go way back and you know I'm your favorite. And, I was the first person to respond to this contest, that's got to count for something right?

Now I almost wish we had pulled young grant all over those exhausting Welch hills and hot rolling lowlands. It would be great to appear in his artistic biography and thus immortalize me as his hiking companion. But too late for that I guess. I suppose a late entry in this contest is the best I can manage.

I would like to draw your attention to my official entry posted on the original contest post. See how helpful I am? That's another reason I should win. Also, I think that I am still the tallest contestant in the running and my children are also bound to be quite tall and multitalented if exposed to the right art at an early age. To clarify, let me state publicly that granteeny's work is indeed the "right art".

(you might also recall that I can hook you up with Casey jex Smith. And I also let you play the Wii. These are all reasons I should win. However, I know that you are capable of making the right decision and I do not wish to unduly sway your opinion. These are even more reasons why I should win.)

I am entering to up our odds for a Granteeny.

Also, I already have a girlfriend picked out for Grant...she blogs her art too.

Drat, I see I have irresponsibly neglected this blog too long while haplessly consuming my hours working and occasionally sleeping. I have not had time to bribe anyone or concoct a clever and compelling reason why I should win my own Granteeny. And I believe the contest ended 4 minutes ago.
SO I would like to be the first to submit my official entry in the NEXT win-a-Granteeny contest. If nothing else, I should get points for forsesight in this matter.
